Hi there!
I may not be your average makeup and hairstyling girly, I actually used to be an elektronics and ICT engineer first.
In 2018, I decided that working alone, behind a computer every day, wasn't fulfilling me anymore and decided to persue my very first passion: makeup and hairstyling.
I took online classes, workshops, assisting jobs and soaked in every bit of information I could find, doing photoshoots, events, theatre, tv, fiction, etc.
It wasn't until 2021 that I fell in love with the bridal side of makeup and hairstyling.
I honed in on natural makeup that enhances someone's features instead of making them look completely different and (half) updo hairstyles with voluminous curls.
I was ready to take on the responsibility that comes with being a bridal makeup artist and hairstylist.
I am the kind of person who:

Do you perform your services at our chosen location? My setup is designed to be 100% mobile, so all I need is a large table, some space to work in, electricity, and a comfortable chair to work my magic. This means I can arrive at your location, unpack, and set up in a matter of minutes. One thing to keep in mind is that I bring a LOT of stuff with me. So ideally, it’s great if the makeup/hair location is on the ground level, or at least accessible by an elevator.

How do I secure my wedding date with you? First, you fill out the form on this page with your date, location, time you need to be ready, and a brief description of your bridal party's appearance. Once I receive your completed form, I will check my availability and get back to you via email. Next, you will receive a contract and invoice for the non-refundable and non-transferable retainer, which is 50% of the full quotation. In order to secure your date, you will have to sign this contract and pay this retainer. Your paid retainer guarantees that I will not book any other clients for that specific date, and will be applied to the full cost of your wedding makeup services.

How do I communicate my desired look to you? I understand that choosing the perfect makeup and hairstyle for your special day can be quite a challenge. I am here to assist you in creating a look that is uniquely yours. If you already have a clear vision of the look you desire, please provide me with at least two different pictures showcasing your desired style. We will use these pictures as our starting point, allowing me to understand your preferences and bring your vision to life. If you are uncertain about the exact look you want or find yourself torn between a few options, simply share a selection of looks that catch your eye. Feel free to send me a range of styles, and together we can explore each one in more detail. However, it is crucial to keep in mind that the images you provide me are meant to inspire rather than mirror. Pictures found on platforms like Pinterest and Instagram have often undergone extensive retouching, filtering, and enhancements.

When do I schedule my bridal preview with you? As a professional makeup artist and hairstylist, I understand how important it is for brides-to-be to feel confident and beautiful on their wedding day when it comes to the perfect dress, makeup and hairstyle. That is why doing a preview about 2 to 3 months before your wedding date is a good idea. During the trial, make sure to wear a shirt/top in the same color as your wedding dress and with a similar neckline. This helps bring the vision to life and makes any necessary changes easy to spot. While you're welcome to invite people to your trial, keep in mind that more opinions don't always mean better. Focus on your own vision, and trust me to make you look stunning on your big day.

How do I prep leading up to my preview/wedding day? You want to look your absolute best and radiate confidence and happiness on your wedding day. But to achieve that, it's important to have a proper skincare and hair care regimen. Don't rely on makeup or my hair products alone to give you flawless skin and hair - it's all about the preparation steps! But these steps don't happen overnight - it takes consistency and patience. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water, exfoliate regularly, show your skin some love with face masks, facial massages, and anything else that makes you feel pampered. It's not just your face that deserves attention, though. Take care of your body as well by regularly exfoliating and moisturizing. Hair care is equally important. Make sure you attend your hair trial and wedding day with clean, healthy hair. Don't use any styling products beforehand, I want to work with a blank canvas. Unless you are a curly girl who wants to show off her natural curls, then do your normal curly girl routine the morning of your preview or wedding day. And if you're going on vacation or spending time outside in the days leading up to your appointment, make sure to wear plenty of sunscreen. Sunburned skin can make it impossible for makeup to stick to your skin!

When do I schedule my beauty appointments before my wedding day? From experience I cannot stress enough the importance of being cautious when considering any beauty treatment leading up to your wedding day. While some treatments may promise long-lasting results and a picture-perfect appearance, it's crucial to remember that your wedding day is not the time to experiment. I've witnessed too many horror stories with crooked lashes, crusty eyebrows, or hair extensions in the wrong shade. To avoid any mishaps, it is highly recommended that you try out these treatments weeks or even months in advance to ensure that everything turns out just right. Luckily, there are plenty of alternatives that can help you achieve similar results without the risks associated with more permanent options. Temporary makeup and hairstyling can work wonders, providing you with the same desired effects. The only exception to this rule would be brow waxing, which can be done by a skilled professional using tweezers a few days before the wedding if needed. After all, your wedding day is all about celebrating love, happiness, and looking and feeling radiant.

Do you also speak dutch? While Dutch is my first language, I ensure that all aspects of my online presence, including my website and social media platforms, are presented in English. This conscious decision allows me to cater to my diverse and international customer base, ensuring that everyone can easily understand the information provided. I do have a solid understanding of French but expressing myself in this language can sometimes be challenging. Thus, to avoid any misunderstandings or misinterpretations, I kindly encourage the use of Dutch or English in conversations.

Do you cover tattoos? No, at the moment I don’t. There is nothing on the market right now that both visibly covers your tattoo and that will stay on all day without transferring color to your carefully chosen dress - especially if there is a possibility of friction between your dress and the broad area of your tattoo.

Do you cater to destination weddings? Yes, I absolutely love them. Whether your destination is far away or not so far away, the necessary adjustments to my kit will be made in order to make sure any transportation mode is possible. This is to make sure you and your bridal party will still look flawless under any circumstance, in an y environment. You can just fill in the contact form with all the information you currently possess and you will be provided with a personalized quotation for the requested services. We will discuss transportation, accommodation, extra fees, etc. to make sure everything is stress free and very clear.

How does your hair extension rental work? Before your preview, I will ask you to send me pictures of your hair in natural daylight so I can determine which colors of my clip-in hair extension collection would be a possible fit for your hair. During your preview we can take a look at how we can incorporate a portion of the set or the whole set of clip-in extensions into your desired hairstyle. If you would like to keep them in after I leave your preview, you will have to pay a deposit (borg) of €200, and you will receive an envelope, with my address on, in which you can send them back to me within the next 3 days. After I’ve received the clip-in extensions into my mailbox, I will pay you back your deposit. On your wedding day, I will bring the same color set with me again, to use in your desired hairstyle. In case you’re still wearing them when I leave your wedding, you’ll have to transfer a new deposit of €200 and receive another envelope to send them back to me within 3 days. Again, you will receive your deposit back as soon as the clip-in extensions have safely arrived in my mailbox. In case you don’t want to use them in your last hairstyle change, then I’ll just take them back home with me and there is no deposit needed. If necessary, I will show you how to remove them safely, which is really easy. After removal, you can just put them in the envelope and I will comb them through, wash them, condition them, etc. before the next usage. Please note that I only carry clip-in hair extension sets in naturally occurring colors.
