My setup is designed to be 100% mobile, so all I need is a large table, some space to work, electricity, and a comfortable chair to work my magic. This means I can arrive at your location, unpack, and set up in a matter of minutes.

That's the beauty of being a mobile makeup artist - I get to see my clients in their natural environment, surrounded by the people and things they love.

It's an honor to be part of such a special day and to help my clients look and feel their best.

I do charge a travel fee from my home base in Willebroek. But let me tell you, it's well worth it to have me come to you.

One thing to keep in mind is that I bring a LOT of stuff with me.

So ideally, it’s great if the makeup/hair location is on the ground level, or at least accessible by an elevator.

However, I've been known to tackle a few flights of stairs when needed. If that's the case, a strong person can always lend a hand.

Securing your wedding date

I am thrilled that you are considering me as your wedding makeup artist! To ensure that your big day goes smoothly, please fill out the form on this page with your date, location, time you need to be ready, and a brief description of your bridal party's appearance.

 

Once I receive your completed form, I will check my availability and get back to you via email. If you decide to book with me, please note that I require a signed agreement and a non-refundable and non-transferable retainer which is 50% of the full quotation in order to secure your date.

This retainer guarantees that I will not book any other clients for that specific time and date, and will be applied to the full cost of your wedding makeup services.

 

To avoid disappointment, please book well in advance, as dates tend to fill up quickly. I can't wait to help you look your absolute best on your wedding day!

Now, for those of you who may still be uncertain about the exact look you want or find yourself torn between a few options, worry not! Simply share a selection of looks that catch your eye. Feel free to send me a range of styles, and together we can explore each one in more detail.

However, it is crucial to keep in mind that the images you provide me are meant to inspire rather than mirror. Often, the pictures found on platforms like Pinterest and Instagram have undergone extensive retouching, filtering, and enhancements to achieve an unattainable level of flawlessness.

Scheduling your trial makeup and hair beforehand

That's why I always advise scheduling a dress fitting day that allows us to do a trial of your wedding makeup and hairstyle.

Schedule your dress fitting in the late afternoon, leaving your morning free for a trial of your wedding makeup and hairstyle. This way, you can see how the makeup and hair will complement the dress, and we can still make any necessary changes on your beautiful big day.

During the trial, make sure to wear a shirt/top in the same color as your wedding dress or with a similar neckline. This helps bring the entire vision to life and makes any necessary changes easy to spot.

 

As a precaution, let me know if you have any allergies that might affect the makeup or hairstyling products so I can use the right ones for your skin and hair.

 

While you're welcome to invite people to your trial, keep in mind that more opinions don't always mean better.

I've witnessed too many horror stories where brides ended up with less than desirable results from these treatments. Crooked lashes, crusty eyebrows, or extensions in the wrong shade can be a nightmare that you simply do not need on your carefully planned day. To avoid any mishaps, it is highly recommended that you try out these treatments weeks or even months in advance to ensure that everything turns out just right.

Luckily, there are plenty of alternatives that can help you achieve similar results without the risks associated with more permanent options. Temporary makeup and hairstyling can work wonders, providing you with the same desired effects. The only exception to this rule would be brow waxing, which can be done by a skilled professional using tweezers a few days before the wedding if needed.

Do you also do a natural version of makeup for adolescents or younger children?

Ofcourse I do. This experience is not only about the makeup, but also about making your child feel special and included in the occasion. We involve them in the preparation process and make sure they get pampered too.

 

For younger children, I focus on enhancing their natural features and keeping the makeup light and natural-looking. I want to bring out their innocence and beauty while also promoting a healthy self-esteem and confidence.

It's important for them to know that makeup is just an accessory and that true beauty comes from within.

We discuss the look beforehand and make it age appropriate so it is clear for everyone what the final result will be.

 

In the end, my goal is for them to feel special and confident, while still being themselves. And it's always a joy to see their happy faces and excitement when they look in the mirror after the makeover!

Do you also speak dutch?

​

While Dutch is my first language, I have taken the initiative to ensure that all aspects of my online presence, including my website and social media platforms, are presented in English.

 

This conscious decision allows me to cater to my diverse and international customer base, ensuring that everyone can easily understand the information provided.
I do have a solid understanding of French but expressing myself in this language can sometimes be challenging.

 

Thus, to avoid any misunderstandings or misinterpretations, I kindly encourage the use of Dutch or English in conversations.

Do you cover tattoos?

​

No, at the moment I don’t. There is nothing on the market right now that both visibly covers your tattoo and that will stay on all day without transferring color to your carefully chosen dress - especially if there is a possibility of  friction between your dress and the broad area of your tattoo.

Do you do only parts of the face i.e. only eyes or only base?

​

I do not. A makeup look is defined by the details and has to look coherent with everything else that is going on in and around the face. For this reason my dedication to full makeup looks stands unwavering, no exceptions possible.
